Beautiful Kosta Boda art glass sculpture from the world famous glass artist Bertil Vallien's VIEWPOINTS collection. I have scoured the internet and cannot find any others available for sale. It has been curio kept in a smoke-free home. I have the original box (with normal wear, see photo). The artist information plate is on the bottom of the sculpture's display base. This is a very heavy piece, approximately 11 lbs. It is in MINT condition with no scratches, nicks or chips. 85mm deep (almost 3.5") and 135mm high (approx. 53/8") with original felts in the four corner of the base of the sculpture. The base is 4.25" square. The original Kosta Boda decal is intact in the lower left corner of the front of the piece. The signature on the bottom reads "Kosta Boda B. Vallien 99578". Complete your collection with this joyful piece of art glass. The inscription on the bottom of the base reads as follows (English): "What you see is coloured by what you are. When you regard the landscape of your soul you either marvel at the view or instinctively recoil from the abyss. an insight that will change your outlook on the world. VIEWPOINTS is a series of observations by Bertil Vallien, free artist and industrial designer, an explorer of the evocative world of myth and symbol." Due to the weight of this item, it will be carefully packed, double boxed and shipped by the method you select. Insurance on this item will be required due to it's fragile nature.
