You are bidding on an extremely rare Porcelain Plaque by KPM Berlin (Königliche Porzellanmanufactur - Royal Porcelain Manufacturing Company) It depicts a Portrait of General Field Marshal Paul von Hindenburg (German military general and national president). The plaque carries just about any mark that KPM was famous for at the time, including the impressed sceptre. It measures about 9.4 by 7.3 centimetres. The portrait is of excellent quality. I cannot tell if it is hand painted or some sort of photographic reproduction. But since t is KPM's red Painter's Mark on the back I suppose it must be a painting. It is sepia-coloured and of great detail as always in KPM-Paintings. The last b/w photograph has nothing to do with the item. It is an original photograph of Hindenburg... it is only to prove the identity. Good luck!
