KS&T / STEINMANN BAVARIAN PORCELAIN BIRD BASKET Up for auction is a lovely handled bowl / basket by K. Steinmann porcelain. This piece carries the appropriate "KS&T" crown mark in green. K. Steinmann produced porcelain from 1868 until 1938. The bowl portion of the piece measures approximately 7" long by 4" wide. The interior of the basket has a gold luster finish with decorative scroll and leaf designs. The very center depicts what appears to be a bluebird perched on a cherry tree branch. This vintage beauty is in excellent condition. It is free of any chips, cracks or crazing. The ornate decorative aspects show virtually no signs of wear. A lovely piece for your porcelain collection!
