SMALL SHIPMENT. This is my previous custom kukri from NEPAL. I just broughtout a NEW model – check it out on my other auctions. The model listed here (I call it the Modern) has been extremely popular and these are the first pieces of the second run (101-200). These are handmade exclusively for me in Nepal by the current supplier of kukris to the British Gurkha Regiment in Kathmandu, the Gurkha Contingent of Singapore Police, the Gurkha Reserve unit in Brunel and the Gurkha Museum in the UK. The kukri offered here is my “Neo Classic” version of the kukri issued to Nepalese Gurkha troops serving Great Britain in WWI and WWII. It is about 16 1/2" in overall length with an 11" HEAVY (this one measures 3/8" thick at the spine), DOUBLE FULLERED, UNPOLISHED, high carbon steel, wickedly sharp blade. The special brown sheath is made from leather. The blade is marked with the name (in Nepalese) of the Biswakarma metal smith who created it completely by hand on one side and my name on the other side with the serial number (the kukri you receive will have a different serial number than the one pictured and will be under 200). The quality of this knife is incredible. My guarantee read more
