You are buying 1 mola, the one on the first photo, an outstanding quality piece with geometric motifs, labyrinth background, and ibis heron egret crane spoonbill pink flamingo aquatic birds native to the Darien Jungle rainforest area. This is a very traditional motif and a great mirror image perfectly rendered, the border all around, a greek-like motif is a masterpiece of handiwork, took forever to create, fantastic artist needlework of museum quality. Absolute perfection of lines & symmetry on these vintage molas created with great precision and detail over a month’s time or more, each with an intense traditional background of very time consuming minute parallel lines or tiny little triangles, or labyrinth motifs reminiscent of the natural maze of the brain coral that surrounds the islands and provide the artists with some of their ideas.
