LISTED ARTIST KURT MEYER-EBERHARDT (1895-1977) - ADORABLE VINTAGE BLACK AND WHITE PORTRAIT ETCHING OF A WONDERFUL, EXPRESSIVE PEKINGESE DOG - PENCIL SIGNED, MATTED AND FRAMED This lovely vintage etching features a sweet Peke, attentive and calm. In this detailed portrait, well-known dog artist, Meyer-Eberhardt has captured the expressiveness and beauty of the Pekingese! The etching is PENCIL SIGNED in the bottom right corner just under the image: "Kurt Meyer-Eberhardt." The image area of the etching measures 9 1/2" long and 7" wide, and the entire piece measures 12 1/2" wide and 16" long. The etching has the plate mark all around and is in the original mat and black frame. Ready to hang on your wall. A delightful portrait of the gentle Pekingese! CONDITION: A few faint spots of foxing on the edges of the sheet, but none on the dog image.There is a slight mat burn around the perimeter, and a very slight wrinkle (I do not know what else to call it) just under the dog's ear and running to the edge of the sheet on the right side. I have had this etching for 20 years and just noticed this now! So, it's not really very noticeable. Just needed to mention it.
