L.E. SMITH AMBERINA GLASS AUTUMN TURKEY JAM JAR WHIMSIE This gorgeous L.E. Smith Amberina Glass Autumn Turkey measures 7 1/4" tall , 5 3/8" in length and approximately 5 1/4" across across the fanned out tail feathers and approximately 6 and 1/2" long. The intricate detail of his feathers, wattle and snood is outstanding. This magnificent Tom Turkey will look wonderful on your Thanksgiving Table or kitchen counter. The colors are magnificient. They run from a light golden honey amber to a deep dark Ruby Red. Tom Turkey is an excellent example of American Pressed Glass. It comes in its original box and has the Smith "S" on the bottom of the bowl along with L.E. Smith disclaimer: "Small bubbles and variations are an innt part of true handmade glass and should not be regarded as flawed. Unlike automated glassware, each piece is indeed one of a kind and will only appreciate in value in years to come." T are a few small air-bubbles in it's tail feathers, it is in excellent condition with no chip, cracks or repairs. THE PERFECT GIFT FOR SOMEONE SPECIAL. A lovely addition to your collection!!
