Beautiful and perfect vintage circa 1950s L.G. Wright Fenton art glass lamp, quite large and heavy. Glass was produced by the Fenton Art Glass company for L.G. Wright designs, and this lamp was made using the double acid method, no longer allowed by OSHA, which produced a velvet texture glass that must be touched to appreciate. This lamp is made in Fenton white velvet glass in a bold high relief overall roses design, cased over cranberry velvet glass on the interior, so that when the lamp is lit, it glows a beautiful pink. The pics don't do this lamp justice. The lamp base is a Victorian design very heavy brass. Cord is original and in perfect condition. The lamp is switched so that the bottom only can be lit, or the upper, or both together, or none at all. Romantic and a perfect boudoir lamp. Comes with special bulb and hurricane chimney glass. Overall from base to top of chimney it measures 21 inches and the diameter of the upper shade is 11 inches. An incomparable lamp from my mother's estate. Will be very well packed and boxed with lots of bubble wrap and cushioning materials for safety in shipping. I will not compromise on packing materials to save on weight and risk damage as a result. Email if any questions, thanks for looking. Sorry, no overseas sales are possible for this item.
