I have been hesitant to list this due to the fact that I don't know much about it... is what I do know~ This cute little pee boy was in my home in the early 60's...I used to turn it over, press the button on the side and the dice would spin...Now that's entertainment!!! I recall comments like "It came from the NY worlds Fair", "during prohibition, they put these on the bars to hide the fact they were gambling", "it's bronze or brass"... I have researched this piece til I've turned blue and have only seen one other on ebay and the seller didn't know ANYTHING about it, but it sold for quite a sum...I will describe it the best I can, show pictures and welcome questions... It stands almost 6" tall and the base is almost 2 1/2"in diameter It is quite heavy for its size and I am unsure as to whether it's brass or bronze, the statue on top (which unscrews from the base) and the base is either bakelite or plastic and reads along the edge~ GALLOPING DOMINOES N.Y. PAT.PEND. THE LABEL READS MANNEKEN-ENFANT BRUSSELS BELGIUM AND APPEARS TO BE LEATHER...IT SEEMS TO BE IN GOOD SHAPE FOR ITS AGE AND HAVING BEEN PLAYED WITH, HOWEVER, THE TOP WHICH SCREWS INTO THE BASE HAS NEVER BEEN RELIABLE AND WE WERE TAUGHT TO HOLD THE BOTTOM AND TOP TOGETHER WHEN WE HANDLED IT TO AVOID DROPPING THE BOTTOM, THE THREADS WERE COMPROMISED BUT STILL STAYS TOGETHER read more
