This beautiful Pansies theme come from the fabled workshop of Ernst Wahliss ca. 1899 to 1918, and is properly base stamped with the red Turn crown mark, and mold form impressed by the modeler. Ernst Wahliss from Turn Teplitz, Bohemia, Austria ca. 1894 to 1910, produced spectacular Amphora figures in satin & matte gloss finishes such as ours. According to, Ceramics From The House of Amphora / by Richard L. Scott, Jan Mergl, Lenka Merglova Pankova, the Ultra Quality in both clarity of form, and hand painted finishing of this mold, reminds us of the work of Alfred Stellmacher / Amphora, AND WITH GOOD REASON.
