This is Heiseys Orchid pattern, etch #507 produced from 1940 to 1957. The etch is on the Lariat #1540 blank. This pattern can be found featured on page 181-184 of Coes Elegant Glass book (ref below). On the left is the 7.25 inch Lariat footed vase with a loop stem and crimped top with graduated loop handles. On the right is the 7inch footed flared fan shape with a loop stem and graduated loop handles. Both are in excellent condition, offered at no reserve for a single bid. Orchid by Heisey is one of the most recognizable glass etches every produced. There were 3 stemware blanks(other blanks such as Waverly & Lariat were used for non-stemware) used for orchid including #5022 graceful; #5025 Tyrolean; #5089 Princess. After Heisey closed, Imperial continued producing some Orchid pieces in this line. This is a very extensive line with many shapes produced on all three of the different blanks. Some pieces and shapes in this pattern are quite rare and difficult to find, others are more plentiful.
