Here is a great game from L2 Design Group that updates and adds to the classic oop Avalon Hill game, War at Sea. In many ways, this game is very similar to the original, but it has a lot more. In incorporates the ships from the AH expansion, War at Sea II plus it has some great new changes like fleet admirals that add a little chrome without painstaking detail. The counters are a vast improvement with color and ship images rather than the silhouettes as before. National Naval flags give a nice touch. Even the convoy counters are now named with important convoy task force names from the war. How can you say no to the Schleswig-Holstein or the pirate ship (yes, a pirate ship)? You can't!
