La Tausca Heller Deltah Cultured Pearl Necklace

Sold For:

Sold Date: 11/09/2008
Channel: Online Auction
Source: eBay

This auction is for One La Tausca Cultured Pearls Necklace.

The Necklace is in Absolutely Excellent Condition.

It features a 10K white gold clasp attached to a double strand of Graduated Stunning Cultured Pearls.

The necklace is accompanied with the original registry certificate issued by Leo J LeBAR Jeweler.

All of this is included in the original case which is a bit dirty on the exterior and shows wear.(see photos of case please)

I believe it is from 1956 or 57. The certificate has the jewelers sticker in lower right corner covering the value and length.

It looks as though someone else tried to peel it back a bit but it was starting to tear so they stopped.(see photos of certificate)

Even though La Tausca was know for faux pearls, at some point they merged with Heller-Deltah who then sold cultured pearls under the La Tausca name. They were later merged with Arlan Jewelry Co. of New York. It is difficult to tell who and when Leo J LeBAR is or was.

I recomend searching reviews and guides on eBay using the mentioned names.

This was purchased recently by myself at an estate auction locally. It is 16.25 inches long measuring end to end when open.

It will be carefully packaged and shipped to you at no cost. Free Priority Mail shipping to all in lower 48 USA!
