'LA TRAVIATA' playing cards. Seven Arts. London. For ALFRED DUNHILL OF LONDON. 1985. PRISTINE MINT CONDITION. Artist/Design: ERTE (Romain de Tirtoff, 1892-1990) - the Russian born Art Deco designer. (Commissioned by Dunhill especially to design this deck) (A major turning point in his career came in 1965, when he met Eric and Salome Estorick, the founders of Seven Arts Ltd of New York and London. Seven Arts produced this pack, and remained the exclusive agent for Erte's work until his death) **THIS IS A SINGLE DECK in the original LUXURY Brown Leather covered DOUBLE box. Based on one of the most romantic operas of all time by Guiseppe Verdi.Vignettes on every card.
