LABINO ART GLASS HARLEQUIN VASE YELLOW ORANGE RED BLUE GREY UNSIGNED This Labino vase came from a well-appointed Estate auction held in the Midwest. Owners primarily collected Modern Abstract pieces of Art Glass. This is vase #2 from their collection. It was sold as a Labino vase as part of his Harlequin series. It is unsigned. And although this piece is not signed, I fully guarantee and warrant this piece to be Labino. The condition is pristine. T are no chips or cracks and no repairs to this piece. The colours are bursting and bright and alive. Rich and deep primary shades. Love the swirls of the Reds melting into Orange and the vibrant Yellows swirl to Cobalt Blue. The stripping of colours come to a pool at the bottom of the vase, slightly off center. Lovely and supremely Labino all the way. I love the shape and feel of the glass. Is weighty and substantial in the palm. Very, very smooth and sensuous to hold. The ovular shape is fantastic. The rim is slightly pinched and the effect is like that of a balloon filling with air. Colours are generously curved around the glass to form an airy effect. They are cased within the glass and the contrast of colour screams 1970's. Bright, bursting, and electric. It is perfectly proportioned in size and shape and the quality is as expected with any piece of fine Labino. I think this is a superb piece. Clean and solid and true. Despite the lack of Labino's signature, I guarantee this piece to be authentic. If you are a collector of Labino Art Glass, looking to add some colour to your existing decor, or a lover of all things bold and beautiful, this would be an exceptional piece to add to your collection.
