Labradorite (Feldspar) - Location: Madagascar. Large Miniature. This is a polished section of the feldspar labradorite. Certain varieties have a remarkable play of "rainbow-like" colors as the specimen is rotated. This colorful "gem" variety is sometimes called spectrolite. This piece has had the surface polished. It is even better than the photo shows. This piece can be used as "gem" material but my personal preference is to enjoy it the way it is (as a specimen).

Miniature - Miniature specimens must fit completely inside an "imaginary" 2 inch cube. In our ebay titles look for "-MIN".
Small Cabinet - Small cabinet specimens must fit completely inside an "imaginary" 3 inch cube. In our ebay titles look for "-SCB".
Cabinet - Cabinet specimens are those larger than 3 inches (too large for a 3 inch cube). In our ebay titles look for "-CAB".
