Hi & welcome to my auction for this beautiful Ladies Silver (925) Marcasite wrist watch. The watch is fully working & holds its time well. It has a 17 Jewel movement which is mechanical - ie, the watch requires winding up as opposed to battery operation. The watch case back is stainless steel, the watch case & bracelet are silver & all the stones are in place. The clasp & safety chain are also in good working order, as you can hopefully see from the photo's. The watch bracelet measures aprrox. 6inches/15.5cm in circumference, it weighs 26 grams & comes in the presentation box in the photo's. We took the watch to a local jeweller yesterday who inspected & wound the watch up for us & gave it the thumbs up. He gave us a scrap value of £25 so that's the starting point for the auction.
