This beautiful vintage ring was recently brought in by a consignor to sell on ebay. She provided an appraisal that she acquired 3-28-2006. The ring belonged to her mother. She believes that it was purchased in Italy when her parents traveled t in the 1970's ( the jeweler agreed that it was very likely italian, which is also true for the bracelet I have also listed for her). The stone is very beautiful. I wish I could have captured the color changes. It shows of variety of colors with light changes. The ring is approx size 9. The appraisal states "One ladies yellow gold ring, marked 14K, not trademarked, set with one 29 X 13 m/m pear shape color changing synthetic corundum (Sapphire).
