Ladies Vintage Lily of the Valley Flowers Hat 40's Saks Vianne is modeling this romantic vintage hat from the late 40's to 50's! It's a bandeau/cap of woven faux straw overlayed with a light green, sheer, silk chiffon & lavishly trimmed with long sprays of white lily of the vally flowers, green leaves & long green velvet dangling bows at the back! The inside is a treat also; pink rose print silk chiffon lining, handsewn & gatd velvet ribbon headband,a hand embellished Saks label (just too adorable !!!) & two hair combs. The large label reads "Saks Fifth Avenue, Millinery Salon". It's about 11" by 7" (please check your measurements with a fabric measuring tape to ensure proper fit). The vevlet ribbons are about 8" long from the back edge. It's in very good condition (refer to "vintage condition" chart below). The flowers could use a bit of reshaping, t are a few small pressed down lines in the velvet ribbon & a few flower sprays are loose (some may be missing, not sure). These are age appropriate issues, only mentioned to be thorough. Remember, even the Mona Lisa has cracks... ~ Vintage Condition Chart ~ Mint : Perfect, pristine, no signs of wear.
