Presented to you 12 boxes, each containing 1 place setting of vintage 1929 Lady Doris (also known as Princess) silverplate flatware. Each set contains 1 knife, 1 desert fork, 1 teaspoon, 1 oval soup spoon and one salad fork. Tow of the boxes are still factory sealed. I checked each of the opened boxes to make sure they contained the entire setting. Each set is still wrapped in it's original tissue. I polished the set shown in the photo but the other sets will need a soft polishing, as they have been stored since they were first purchased. The flatware was made by Wm. Rogers & Son introduced in 1929. It was also called Princess during it's production. It is marked on the back of each piece as shown in the photo. This set was originally sold at local grocery stores for $2.00 per box. See my other auctions for a companion serving set! NOTE! are the dimensions of the flatware I have in THIS listing. Kinfe - 9 1/2 inches; Larger Fork -7 inches; Smaller Fork - 6 inches; Large Spoon - 7 1/4 inches; Smaller Spoon - 6 inches. I have other serving pieces listed in my other auctions (that is w the 8 1/4 inch spoon is) Payment Information: Due to Ebay's new payment policy, Paypal is preferred. Payment is to be received within 3 days after the close of the auction. Insurance will be an option, the amount will depend on the final bid amount.
