"LADY HILTON" Sterling FLATWARE SET by WESTMORLAND Wallace Silversmiths trace their beginnings to 1835, and some of the most elaborate patterns ever made are from this factory. Between 1940 and 1950 they also produced silver for Westmorland Sterling Company. T were 5 complete flatware patterns which were distributed directly to consumers through in-home sales. The timeless and classic "Lady Hilton" Pattern was introduced for Westmorland in 1940. This auction is for a 49 Piece Set consisting of the following pieces: 8 Knives, 9 1/8" 8 Forks - 7 1/8" 8 Salad Forks - 6 1/8" 8 Teaspoons - 6" 7 Round Soup Spoons, 6" 8 Ind Butter Knives - 6 1/8" 2 Serving Spoons - 8 1/4"This vintage sterling was purchased at an Estate Sale and is in excellent condition. Several pieces are still in their factory plastic sleeves. T are no monograms or removals. The knife handles are sterling and the modern style blades are stainless steel.
