DESCRIPTION For auction is a rare, original Architectural Pottery planter designed by Lagardo Tackett. This monumental jardiniere, in the highly desired matte white glaze is the epitome of classic, streamline and minimalist mid century modern design. The pot is stamped with the circular Architectural Pottery brand on the inside bottom. I have not seen this drum base with cone top shape before. A nice piece for any collector. DIMENSIONS: 13.25" tall x 17" diameter at mouth. Base is 12" diameter. CONDITION: As seen in the photos, t is one small chip to the bottom edge. Luckily it breaches very little of the exterior front edge of the planter and could easily be filled/repaired without causing much distraction. T is surface crackling to finish on the interior bottom. Minimal minor wear to exterior. No cracks or repairs. CAL IFORNIA TAX: California sales tax of 8.25% applied to Ca residents.
