This is a VERY Unique Whimsical and Fun Ceramic Vase
Created by well known local Laguna Beach California Artist, Lygia Dubin, of Dubin Ceramics. The vase is quite a large piece measuring 18 inches high by 15 inches at widest tips. The top diameter is 10 inches. Look carefully at the Detail in this Vase! T is quite a lot going on ... it's like having a FUN night out-on-the-town. The face is full of devilish mischief shaded by a jesters cap with a bell. A detailed Butterfly on the left. A cute yellow Tree Frog on the right. A Ladybug. A couple of Dragonflys. A Night Tree with watchful eyes on the back. Planets and Stars in the Sky. Could ~Puck~ be dreaming up anything better in a Midsummer Night's Dream? You can't help but feel the fun and the Whimsy when you lay eyes on this vase. Currently t are some reeds inserted into the vase complementing a bigger height and presence. Perhaps you could insert a poof of fun colorful paper flowers in their place as a finish to the facial expression and headpiece. Lygia Dubin produces ceramics in Laguna Beach California. She participates in the Laguna Beach Festival of the Arts, the Laguna Beach Sawdust Art Festival. Her work has been featured in various shows around the country such as the Art Benefit in Boulder City Nevada, and the Art Showcase in La Quinta California, to name a couple.
