Designed by Rene Lalique in 1945 and based on ideas of the Luxembourg Gardens in Paris, this was his last creation before he died. Production was overseen by his son Marc Lalique. This lead crystal vase stands 8 1/4" tall, has a top diameter of 10 1/4" and weighs 22 1/2 lbs. The entire bowl is frosted on the outside (shiny inside) and t are eight extremely high relief dancing cherubs around the sides. Signed in script on the bottom: Lalique France. Exquisite condition, no box. Unbelievably fabulous piece. This will be professionally packed via UPS and we will contact you with costs at the end of auction.
