This 8 inch tall Lalique crystal art glass angel fluted wine or champagne stemware glass is beautiful! Surrounding the circumference of the bowl of the flute is the acid etched angel wing. The underside of the bowl carries the frosted glass angel image. The base of the flute carries the Lalique acid etch backstamp. It is in excellent condition and free of any chips, cracks, flea bites, or repairs. Any reflections or white areas appearing in the photos are because of the flash - not a problem with the glass! This glass was never used or displayed. It has been stored since the owner received it has a wedding present approximately 40 years ago. Born in 1860, Rene Lalique began his career in the world of art as a jewelry designer in 1881 in Paris, France. By the late 1880s, he had turned to glass production using French Art Nouveau inspired designs. NOTE: I have another identical Lalique Angel flute currently listed on eBay. If you win both auctions, I can ship them together to save you money on shipping and insurance. This Lalique glass will be wrapped in bubble wrap and packed with styrofoam peanuts to help ensure its safe arrival.
