One of those things that has just been laying around! 29 inch diameter 18 inch pitch (I assume from the part number) 17-layer laminated wooden aircraft propeller. It is painted grey but I would think you could strip it off and polish up the underlying laminated wood. I do not know the manufacturer of this item as it is a government surplus auction item. The only other number on it besides the part number is "AE9526" which I think is the date code (26th week of 1995) but I could be wrong. This is a NEW part in EXCELLENT condition. The photos should give you most of the info you need. The only things a bit unclear in the pictures are the width and depth of the "step" in center hole as seen from the rear and the bevel of the center hole from the front. As for the step, it is only about 1/32 inch wide and extends down about 1/4 of an inch into the center bore from the rear. The bevel is appears to be a 45 degree angle and goes down about 1/4 inch into the bore from the front. Use this as an aircraft propeller or make a decorative wall plaque out of it.
