Fantastic and rare pair of wall lights from the Metallux range designed in the 1950s by John & Sylvia Reid for Rotaflex Ltd. Black enamelled metal body with vertical perforations on white painted bracket. Excellent condition, no dents etc with original black finish showing just a few very light age related marks while the original opaque paper linings on the inside of the shade - a feature of this range - have some become somewhat brittle / discoloured with age although this doesn't affect the look of the lamps. Full working order - the wiring is original so should be checked prior to use. Looks fantastic unlit and amazing when lit! Each measures 9" x 4 1/2" diameter. Low start and no reserve auction sale.
