My new coffee table book on my Mother Lana Turner "LANA,THE MEMORIES,THE MYTHS,THE MOVIES" is available now. Mother had a collection of cocktail shakers. This was from her bungalow at Universal studios. She had quite a few of these shakers with receipes which are becoming real collectibles. I have kept some and I must say that the receipes come in handy in this new wave of cocktails. The glass is embossed with cocktail glasses held by fingers with red polish.. (Which is FUN) There are 8 receipes in red, black and green on square white backgrounds and are for a Whiskey Sour, Manhattan, Daiquiri, Side Car, Bronx, Bacardi, Alexander and HER FAVORITE THE MARTINI...The top reads.......... To Your Health......Skol........A Votre Sante........Salud ( Each toast is separated by a star. The top is silver metal ...I keep quite a few things of Mother's at my bar. They have character, history and look fabulous..... It measures 9 1/2 by 3 3/4 at it's widest.(approx)..It is offered with her silver metal tag reading Lana Turner. My Mother, Lana Turner planned on sending some of her collections to Christies for auction. She had these tags copied from the original 14K gold tags she had. She thought they would be fun and so do I.... .Also offered with her photo tag pictured and reading "Property From The Estate of Lana Turner. ....... I am in the process of going through my Mother's silver, china and crystal collections, please keep checking into the store............................
