This is a beautiful Renaissance ornate mantel clock and matching urns with a key (key wound), believed to be Italian. Very RARE Paintings by Itlaian painter Lancini/Loucini while clock movement is believed to be Franz Hermle (can see Germany written on it)Unsure as to date but would says 19th or late 18th centurySeems to be in good working order, has been carefully stored.Bought the clock and matching urns at a little antique shop in Italy in the 1960sThe clock and urns have a beautiful handpainted porcelain plaque on the front of it. The scenes include is of a lovely 17 or 18th century couple courting in a garden. The clock face numerals are handpainted on metal and there are handpainted roses around the dial, which has a glass coveringThe porcelain pillars and finial tops have landscape scenes painted on them. There is a small porcelain handpainted plaque beneath the courting folks which are handpainted on each urn. The handpainted porcelain plaque on the clock has a signature that appears to be "Loucini" Gold Gild metal (bronze/brass??) parts are also in good condition for age, would just need a sparkle but I'll leave that to the experts THIS CLOCK SET WEIGHS AROUND 11 kg. I will arrange a courier at the expense of the winner at cost and will include packaging (this will probably not be more than around 35), but will check beforehand) read more
