For sale, my Series 3 200TDI project. I boughtthis Land Rover with the intention of restoring it and fitting it with a 200 TDI engine but unfortunately no longer have the time or space to complete this project. As you can see from the pictures, I started to strip this down to gain access to the front dumb irons that need replacing. Other areas that will need attention include: 1. a patch by the rear bump stop 2. front footwells (the rest of the bulkhead is solid with no rot in the usual places). As for the rest of the chassis, the rear cross member and outriggers are solid. As shown in the photographs, the original gear box and petrol engine (included in the sale) has been removed. Also included in this sale is a 200TDI Discovery engine with approx 100k miles on the clock. This was taken from my friend's Discovery when it failed it's MOT (due to rust.) The engine itself runs very well though it hasn't got a turbo fitted but i am also including a good turbo. I absolutely love this car and don't want to see it go but it does require time and money to complete the restoration and I don't have enough of either!! This is a sold as seen sale so please feel free to ask any questions. Cash on collection only please. This vehicle is advertised for sale elsewhere so I reserve the right to end the auction early.
