hi all,,, here for auction is my rare 1960 land rover series 2 fitted with a 2 litre diesel engine. she is very original and is very good overall condition. the body work is all very original and straight, the bulkhead has been repaired at some stage in the foot wells and is her own and is solid. she still has her original 2ltr diesel engine and gearbox in good condition and runs really well. original seats in the front and rear, and in good usable condition. the hard top sides with no windows are another rare feature. the speedo shows under 18,000 miles and although i wont garantee the milage the land rover is so good it is probibly correct. the chassis has been repaired at the rear at some stage in the past as have the front dumb irons, they are not bad repairs and the chassis is solid but personally i would replace the whole thing to make her tip top. i have the v5 log book and her original keys plus fob. she has been stored in a shed as part of our collection for the past 10 years or so and only started occasionally and moved about. there is no tax or mot on her so you will need to to take her away on a lorry or trailer, unfortunately she dosent come with a battery but we have one for loading purposes or you could bring your own. a basic description would be to say that she is a very good little old land rover, very original, read more
