Landscapes British and Foreign / Engraved by Charles G Lewis after E W Cooke RA / Art-Union of London / 1874 Hardcover, approx 38cm x 27cm. Large volume with 30 delightful images of British and European scenes (all present) on individual pages. Condition is good. The green covers are sound and bright though bumped along the edges and with wear and some marks. Inside the covers the hinges are cracked and the endpapers creased. Beyond these the book is tightly bound. The images typically are clean and bright; there is some light spotting, mainly noticeable in the borders. The page edges are a little browned. ‘The Porto, Venice’ image is a little loose and wavey along the top edge. Postage is free in the UK. Many thanks for your interest.
