Child Safety Locks have been installed Can be delivered in time for Christmas Three day auction This is a single Lane Cedar chest that was probably made in the 40's, and has been refinished and is in excellent condition. This chest is made with 3/4 inch solid cedar with beautiful multi-veneer walnut with grain exterior. This is a nice deco style chest with the popular waterfall front with no problems. Dimensions Outside: 46 inches long, 17 1/2 inches deep, and 20 3/4 inches in height. Inside: 44 1/2 inches long, 15 inches deep, 11 inches in height. This chest was made by the Lane Co, Altavista, VA and has it's original burnt in Lane logo, register no, aroma tightness seal, and red arrow moth guarantee label. The top of this chest has a very nice choice walnut wood grain in excellent condition, with the poplar waterfall design top. A nice routed outer edge with an applied molted outer edge. The front is extremely nice with a walnut multi-veneer design with a nice cutout bottom trim board. The sides of this chest are also made from walnut wood grains. This is a very nice chest that is in excellent refinished condition with no problems and that can be delivered for Christmas. Child safety locks have been installed. I sell furniture 50 to 150 years old and normal ware can be expected, but any major flaw will be included in my descriptions. I can have this chest delivered by Greyhound to the nearest terminal to you that accepts freight for 120.00 which will include all packing, materials, shipping and insurance.
