This is a project for which I don't have the time.It is housed in a gorgeous long mahogany cabinet and looks most impressive with hinged lid. The set can be withdrawn from this cabinet.Originally it must have been a bright emitter valve set as there are little port-light windows in the front panel. There is also a rheostat which would have controled the filament current. Someone has un-wired this set in the past and started to modernise it perhaps in the 1940s?I think the High Tension batteries may have lived in the draw beneath but now it has a selection of radio componets from the pre-war era. There is an interesting switch mounted in the centre, wavechange? There are variable capacitors and honeycomb coils, one swinging reaction? Please study the pictures and ask any questions if necessary. This item needs to be collected - please pay cash. If absolutely necessary it could be sent by a courier but the buyer needs to arrange and pay for this, including any packing. Thanks for having a look. Please see my other listings.
