Large 19th Century Chinese Export Ivory Bangle Bracelet with Carved Openwork Dragons Amid Clouds. This beautiful bracelet has a smooth interior surface with visible cross grain; personalized with the name M.McCaw incised and stained black. Two horned dragons are entwined with each other as they play amid the clouds encircling the bracelet; their long horns, bulging eyes and scaly backs are well carved in relief. The decoration is pierced and carved with undercuts and fine details. This is a very impressive bangle bracelet with nice old patina. T is NO RESERVE to this auction.

Outside diameter: 11.7 cm (4.6 in.), Inside circumference: 27.5 cm (10.72 in.)

Condition is very good. Very nice patina to the ivory. Well carved.
