Portrait of a Huntsman & Horse, 19th century Large Study - Excellent quality - Needs some restoration Fine large 19th century portrait of a huntsman on his horse, oil on canvas. Idyllic countryside setting of a Huntsman on his mount at side profile. Exceptional detail in the gentleman with his bright red hunting jacket and of the horses, head, soft coat and muscular definition. Patches verso as seen and some fine marks/laceration (difficult to see and picture) and a dimpled section. Would be enhanced by some repairs if desired. Presented in a gilt frame.
