This is a lovely Armand Marseille Bisque headed dream baby doll. At 25" in height, this is , I believe the largest in the dream baby series. Overall condition is excellent considering the age (round about the 1920s). Marks to the rear of the neck read "A. M Germany 351/9k" There are a few scuff marks to the back of the head. The eyes, whilst they still open and closed as they should, are slightly out of kilter and need slight repositioning. There are no cracks ,to the head. Usually there is quite a lot of wear and tear to the composite bodies, especially around the joints, wear and tear here, is minimal, and fingers and toes are in pretty good shape too.. The clothes are I believe, contemporary to the doll, and are what she arrived in, a slip, a white cotton broderie anglaise dress and a home made flannel jacket. Her socks and shoes are especially sweet and I think are original.The socks are a bit holey. Have a good look at the following photos, hopefully they will answer any queries you may have... if not, please feel free to ask. Please note that owing to the large size of this doll , it is available to UK bidders only, the parcel will be enormous and will weigh in at over 3 kg.
