A Fine Large 9ct Gold Watch Chain Spinner Fob with Faceted Citrine Fully Hallmarked for Birmingham 1916; Weight: 16.8g This is an impressive Watch Chain Spinner Fob with faceted Citrine, which dates to 1916. As shown it, weighs 16.8 grams (please see the detailed close-upphotographs provided, which form an integral part of the item's description). This fine quality Fob is fully hallmarked, as shown, confirming that it is made from solid 9ct Gold i.e. it is not gold plated and that it was assayed in Birmingham in 1916. The 9ct Gold frame holding the Quartz Spinner is embellished with engraved scroll decoration, which flanks a shield shaped cartouche that hasn't been engraved or personalized. The Fob measures approx' 35mm by 31mm excluding the additional gold ring for attaching it to a chain. Overall the fob is in great condition with the Citrine showing only wear commensurate with age and no chips or cracks. Similarly, the fob is also in superb condition for it's age with no dings, splits, cracks or repairs and again with only wear commensurate with age.
