This old bell came from the mining office of an old coal mine near Pottstown Peoria County Illinois. Not sure if it was used at the mine or just what its original purpose was.This old bell is marked St. L. C. Co. and has the number 699 embossed under the bell. This bell is rather large. It has a nice ring to it when you pull the lever.
