Up for auction and fresh out of a Fine old estate comes this Stunning Antique Large Chinese Vase with Lite Bluish Celadon glaze. This vase stands approx. 17" tall and it weighs approx. 12 lbs! This Vase long time ago was drilled with a hole in the bottom and made into a lamp.. I tried to take the lamps parts off to get to the bottom to see if it was signed and of course it is not marked on the bottom (see photo). But the last remaining metal nut bolt which is loose and moves in the base is rusted an soldered and I could not get it to come off, but it could be cut off with the proper tools that I do not have. The vase is beautifully hand carved or embossed in relief with Floral and vine pattern and large leafs on the bottom part. The Top neck part of the base is more incised design of flowers and vines and the shoulder part has nice Greek Key border (see photo). The vase is in excellent condition with No chips, No cracks and No repairs. It could use a good cleaning as it have not since I've owned it and there is some residue around the top opening edge where the brass cap covered the top opening and I have since already cleaned that stuff off. I don't know the exact age of this vase but was told it a very good piece!! The Detail in incredible and so is it size! Great piece! Please see my other auctions for more antique Chinese porcelains
