For sale is a super, large, solid, dark antique oak fire surround in excellent overall condition. The oak has a deep colouring with a rich patina and just a few very minor blemishes consistent with age. We purchased this from an antiques centre c.12 years ago with a view to framing an AGA we had our eye on at the time. Sadly, the project was never realised and it is now time to let this beautiful surround find a new home. The fire surround has been kept indoors in our smoke-free, pet-free home and has never been abused or altered in any way. Offered at a sensible Buy-It-Now price that reflects the quality and value-adding potential of this surround in a suitable reception room or (as we envisaged it) as a stand-out feature in a domestic kitchen.
