Large, carved tiger.Probably about a hundred years old, possibly made to advertise a carnival or circus or possibly an old Inn/trade sign Most of the original paint remains but weathering has lead to paint loss on his head (the eyes have been added in more recent years,I assume). There is a large split down tiger's right hand side again due to age and weathering but this is solid,no movement whatsoever.A smaller split runs from his nose along his back, again this is solid. His right molar teeth are missing as is his right heel. He still remains an incredible, large, decorative piece. Possibly of Latin American origin. 2ft 6" long 15" tall 7" width Postage costs are an estimate. Many other quality antique,primitive/folk art items being listed, please see 'other items',and more to follow!Worldwide delivery on all items except furniture.
