Up for bids is this Large Antique Late 19thC Art Nouveau Stork Eating Frogs Majolica Pottery Charger. This piece was made during the late 19thC most likely in Austria but it could be English or maybe even French. The charger is done in a light brown glaze and depicts a scene with frogs all over as a large stork clamps down on one of them in his beak. The quality of the piece is terrific. The way the piece is molded and glazed gives the decoration a realistic appearance. The only markings on this piece are the numbers 512 and 1 which is impressed on the back. This piece has a diameter of 16 3/4" and stands 1 3/4" in height. This piece is in great condition with only one tiny fleabite to the underside of the bottom rim which is very minor and shown in the last picture. This Large Antique Late 19thC Art Nouveau Stork Eating Frogs Majolica Pottery Charger will make a great addition to your collection.Shipping will be $28.50 to anywhere in the USA.
