FANTASTIC Antique Meiji Period BRONZE PLATED Metal DRAGON Box! I would date this to c1900-10. Great DRAGON on the top, and scenes of Cranes on the sides. Piece originally had a gold colored finish on it, but that has been lost through time, and use. Condition: Very Good Overall, wear to Bronze Plating in areas. Closes well. Size: Good Size, 4 1/2 accross the bottom, and a bit over 2 inches high. Great piece of old Japanese history, wont last long at this price. Piece is HEAVY for its size.
