This is a Meissen ornament is absolutely stunning, with vivid colours and it depicts a very serene music scene. It has the Meissen marks on the bottom and it is a genuine antique. It is very large, about 18", quite heavy, but also very delicate. All the figurines are in excellent condition, there is no damage to the most delicate parts (fingers, flowers etc). There is only a crack across on the right hand side that has been repaired well and another hair line crack towards the middle (see pictures), but neither of them detracts from the beauty and value of the whole ornament.Being so delicate we would strongly encourage the buyer to collect it personally as it would be absolutely criminal if it got damaged during transportation. However, if needs be, we shall package it with the greatest care and send it through the post, but it is at buyer's risk. I am selling it on behalf of my aunt , so if you have any questions, please bear with me, I would need to consult her and it may take some time . Thank you for looking.
