Large Persian Tabriz 15'x11' marked AHARI A must sell item. Belongs to my a friend which no longer needs it because of its large size. Perfect condistion for its age. The pile and the foundation are in perfect condition. No repairs or low pile areas. Torn about 1 inch at the tassels on one end. Nothing serious. Beautiful authentic Tabriz rug. The artist, AHARI, has wovened his name at one end of the rug. This rug was appriased $6000 20 years ago (I have seen the official appraisal document). Was bought at an aution for $4500. Has not been used in high traffic area. All colors and natural. If you know authentic persian rugs you will now what this rug is and how much it is worth by looking at it. I don't need to advertise too much. The rug is heavy. I don't know the exact weight but I know I cannot pick it up by myself without hurting my back. I estimate that it is about 100 Lbs. The buyer will pay for the freight. I have more pictures. I will be happy to send them to you via email. I maybe mistaken about the age but it looks 50-60 years old. Also the length is a little (4") short of 15'. The reserved price is very low just to make sure that unreasonable bids are not accepted. If it had been my rug, I would have considered any reserved price for the auction as I do know it will sell nicely. But I don't want to risk because it is not mine and I am just helping my friend and he insists that we should use reserved price. I prefer personal checks. But I also accept PayPal. Please save me some money by not using PayPal. No returns and the sale is final. But I guarantee that the rugs is described accurately.
