A very nice antique writing box, rosewood and mahogany with brass banding and accents. It measures about 20" x 10" x 7". Excellent grain and contrast in colour of the thick rosewood veneer. The surface has a heavy protective coat of gloss plastic urethane. The lid and bottom have some old cracks, t is a bit of veneer missing on the back and t is a piece of brass missing on the back also. The interior has 3 drawers hidden below the wells. The green writing surface is in good shape. Do not have a key but the lock is open. T are a few flaws and bits missing and t, but overall a nice old one. Box is quite heavy. Shipping to the U.S. will be $30.
