A beautiful large antique Russian icon of Saint Nicolas The Miracle worker, mid to late 19th century, hand painted on a heavy wooden board, professionally executed painting with great attention to detail, bbright vivid colors, rare in this large size. Very good antique condition for the item of this age, 100% authentic, has not been cleaned or restored. Has areas of minor surface chips and paint loss which do not detract from an overall beauty and appearance. Size 15 5/8" x 13 5/8". Comes from an extensive private collection of Russian Imperial antiques and icons. Other items from the same collection are being listed concurrently, so keep an eye on our listings.
