Up for auction is a beautiful stained glass window in a light box. The window is from a group of eight windows that were saved from church that was torn down a long time ago in Lincoln Nebraska. They were stored in a shed in Elkhorn Iowa for 30 years. The window is over 100 years old. At the bottom of the window is a hinged panel that opened to let fresh air into the church. The window is much more colorful than my cheap camera can capture. The light box is made from a light weight metal angle iron frame with the window attached and encased in wood. T are 4 florescent bulbs inside to show off the beauty of the stained glass. The light box is free standing and very stable. The base is wider than the top and it tilts back very slightly to make sure that it can never fall forward. The window is in excellent condition except for two panes that have a very thin hairline crack as seen in the photo. They are not very noticeable but could be easily repaired. This stained glass light box would look great in a large living room, restaurant, or in your local church. It is located at our shop in McClelland, Iowa 51548.
