Large antique Swiss cylinder music box, circa 1870 .

Large antique Swiss cylinder music box, lever wound, in an inlaid burl walnut and ebonized case, circa 1870, plays perfectly! The box has an ebonized lid and base on bracket feet, the burl walnut case is inlaid and crossbanded with satinwood banding. The fold down lever winding mechanism is on the left hand side, the cylinder is protected with a removeable glass cover, to the right are two lever switches the top one states "change" or "repeat" the bottom one states "stop" or "play". This box seems to play 10 airs, below is a youtube video link so you can hear the box playing, the box plays beautifully! This is a large music box at 23.5" long x 10.5" deep x 7.5" tall, the cylinder is 13" long, a good antique Swiss cylinder music box circa 1870.
